The four freedoms are often understood as rights granted by an original creator (of software or design) to an indivdual end user to study, use, modify and share their work. However, as technology has a profound impact on the fabric of our societies we should investigate not only the relationship between technology and individual freedoms but also the effect on collective freedoms.
On previous Koppeltings we started exploring the Four Thieves Vinegar Collective DiY medicine system. This time we will try to finish the micro reactor! Come and tinker with me!

I've been working on a minimalist low-dependency framework for making progressive web apps, to be used by small scale communities to operate and maintain a collective repository of knowledge and data.
In this hackathon we will test-drive the framework and build a number of example applications.
Hoe communiceer je als journalist als er een noodsituatie is en bijvoorbeld de stroom en het internet uitvallen? Is mesh communicatie een mogelijke oplossing en wat zijn de haken en ogen?
Met technisch geinteresseerde journalisten onderzoeken we de mogelijkheden voor lokale journalistiek via mesh netwerken.
